The course is salted and then a thorough walk-through is done each year to make sure it is safe for all the participants. If there is large snowfall that jeopardizes the safety of the course, a notification will be posted on the Icebreaker’s website 24 hours before the race’s start time and an e-mail will be sent to participants that checked the box to receive e-mails.
