ELITES INFO
To be accepted as a complimentary elite entry, the athlete must have achieved the following standards during 2024:
Women’s Standard: 29:00
Men’s Standard: 25:30
Understanding that the 8K distance is not contested frequently, the Icebreaker 8K will also accept the following equivalent times for the 5K and/or 10K:
Women’s 5K/10K Equivalent Standard: 17:30 / 37:00
Men’s 5K/10K Equivalent Standard: 15:15 / 31:30

PRIZE MONEY
The Icebreaker will award cash prize money and New Balance Gift Cards for the top 5 finishers of the open male and female category. The results will be on gun time.
1st - $500 cash & New Balance Super Shoes ($335)
2nd - $300 cash & NB gift $100
3rd - $100 cash & NB Gift Cards $100
4th - $150 in NB Gift Cards
5th - $100 in NB Gift Cards

INDIVIDUAL AWARDS
New Balance Prize Money and Prizes will be given out to the following:
- top 3 overall male and female finishers
- top 3 overall masters male and female finishers (35+)
- top youth male and female finishers (0-18yrs)
- top individual fundraiser for KidSport
TEAM AWARDS
We have two fun team contests to stir up some excitement and your competitive juices:
- The team with the most finishers on race day (largest team).
- The team that fundraises the most money for KidSport Richmond (the most generous team).
*All awards will be given post-race during the awards ceremony, and winners must be present to receive their awards.
*There are no switching teams after registration closes and the fundraising contest will end at 11:59 pm, on January 11, 2025.
