2025 Icebreaker Results
It’s always a great event. I always enjoy racing it when I can. It’s one of the few local races that is still volunteer-organized, and they do a great job. Plus it supports a great cause. It’s a fantastic way to kick off the year!
We are blown away by the success of the 2025 Icebreaker and the impacts it has on not just the Richmond sporting community but the community at large. A heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers, sponsors and residents of Steveston who allow us to put this event on each year. It keeps getting better every year! With the addition of the kid’s 2.5K event, prize money, and free New Balance super shoes for the top finishers, we saw a significant increase in competitive runners. Jared and the team managed the record-breaking crowds admirably. Perfect weather, abundant volunteers, healthy snacks, and plenty of smiling participants checked all the boxes. I’m already looking forward to 2026!
